i started to wear the jeans on the 24th, and on the 25th of april i got my new wallet (:

pretty cool.

came with two textured cardholders, and a warranty if i get mugged :P

week 1: receiving the jeans :)

soooo i ordered the jeans on the 19th and got them weds. april 23rd. i did a 1 hour boiling soak and then hung them til they were almost dry. it was late at night already, so i took them in a blow dried them and wore them when damp. the top block was/is a little too roomy for me, but the anti fit is a nice break from more fitted jeans.

so im gonna start a blog, probably and hopefully for a year to commit along with my SExFH05 jeans i received from Self Edge. The jeans are a collaboration of the store and the brand, Flat Head. i was anticipating these jeans since the new year and finally got them on the 23rd of april :P

Our collaboration with Flat Head is a reworking of the famous 3001/F310 jean.

We took what we think is a great slim cut jean, and tweaked it to create the perfect slim cut jean for us.

We reduced the leg opening of the jean so that there is more of a taper near the hem, increased the denim weight to 16oz, made it a button-fly enclosure, brought back half of the old arcuates with the forked tongue, all the stitching consists of Cotton-Poly Core thread, and the pocket bags are made of military grade olive herringbone fabric.

ing fading properties as the 3XXX denim, but is heavier in weight and also a bit more rigid than it's lighter weight counterpart.

me in the waist as all other current model Flat Head jeans, they will shrink to +5" of tagged size in the waist. The way the jean was cut on the w

aist (the top block) no size will have a super tight waist, but the rest of the cut will remain quite slim. There's no need to have a painful first month or so with these jeans to attain a super slim look.

The SEXFH05 will be released on Saturday April 19th at 12:00 (PST) in-store and at 17:00 (PST) here in our online store.

also, to commemorate the jeans, i bought a new wallet to get a new wa llet fade in these. hopefully it'll last as long as the jeans do ^_^. it's a stainless steel wallet from stewart/stand.
